Welcome to the Anglican Pub

beers-02.jpgWhat can I get you today, and what’s your thoughts on the news? I heard that up Newcastle way the priest there tried to beat some old dog. I don’t think that’s right. What, the troubles in America? I think those people are behaving very very badly. Shame really. Some row over who’s reading the Bible the right way. Damn fools if you ask me.

What a great place! I love it already. It’s a little early yet for beer or wine. Do you serve tea?

Just what we need, especially in light of all that’s going on in the world - a place to relax and sip a drink (Coke for me, if you please) and talk about the family, the need for a raise, the high cost of beverages in the world. And, a chance to get a good doggie kiss, maybe? Clumber looks like he could nuzzle quite well.

Clumbers do nuzzle quite well, in fact. Mine also used to be able to get 3 tennis balls in his mouth at the same time…. a giant flourescent green grin! So a good doggie lick goes out to sharecropper! Now let me get your coke and you can tell me aout the family… and no charge for the soda…

This was mostly a doggie tongue-in-spaniel-cheek when I saw the Episcopal Cafe… now I understand, their’s is for Evangelism. Well no wonder it’s more fun over here in the Pub!

back from a long day over in Seattle.
    I’ll take that wine now.
I just tend not to order wine in too many pubs.
But I suppose that around here the wines will be just fine.
